The magic of the inter-webs never ceases to amaze me. I had a marvelous discussion with Josh from Ghost Vapes. He took time out of his day to connect via Skype (Thank you!), and to walk me through the operation of my Ghost Vapes MV-1. From the pitch that I received regarding this “Leica Camera” of the luxury cannabis vaporizer market. Why? Because it’s solid in the hand and quite ergonomically capable. It fits against the natural shape of my hand and if I only had a neck-strap, it would fit right in the middle of my chest, rather comfortably I might add! Looking more like a camera spotting scope or a pair of luxury binoculars, than a cannabis vaporizer. Stealthy!
I love luxury cannabis goods, if you haven’t guessed that already. I’m always attracted to the n’est pas ultra of the cannabis world because life is short enough, so if I’m smoking cannabis or using other accouterments, I demand the very best.

Luxury European cars are often distinguishable by their distinctively elegant, elongated and heavy key fobs. The ones on German cars in particular seem to stand out by their pure lines and shining chrome accents. When I was sent by forces unknown to write my thoughts about the Cobra Extracts delivery system and their respective gourmet quality oils, I was very intrigued. But being so busy these days comes at a cost with my package containing the Cobra Extracts dispenser and the two 510 carts. I had some travel scheduled and wasn’t planning on making the trip without at least something to lessen the indignities of air travel. Visiting one of the largest indoor grows of cannabis in the USA is terribly humbling to say the very least. There are what we call Seven Wonders of the Earth, but whatever greatness is described as the Natural Wonders, I have to say without any hesitation that the vast, three-hundred, thousand sq. ft. indoor growing space at the Pharm, is without a doubt the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen in my life.It was absolutely stunning. And, in reverence to the universe, the entire indoor space is lit by the sun. Each intensely lit day, offering medicine to the plants, and then in turn to consumers. I would also without any hesitation like to be on record, describing myself as cannabis snob. (A burden, I know!) That would mean that I’m probably not known to scoff at cannabis, but it’s been a very long time since I’ve enjoyed the intrinsic experience of smoking really fine cannabis. This would be, in simple terms, getting a buzz, even feeling something. Nothing wrong with that at all. Not to dismiss my New Jersey medical cannabis providers who do a very nice job with the rules as they are in New Jersey. Or the multitude of fantastic micro-craft growers who have tantalized my intellectualism and my verbosity with their hand nurtured wares. All are remarkable because it’s so very hard to be completely objective in this space. It’s not like wine where you can buy it on every corner, and then again it’s exactly like wine, if you live in Arizona.

WB: In my former life working in the craft-spirits business, I created a life for myself as a Master Mixologist for a global liquor company. Through this intriguing dialogue of flavor, over sheer intoxication, and through the magic of global events such as the Moscow Bar Show, and Tales of the Cocktail, I came to the realization that most cocktail syrups and mixers are corn sugar soaked messes, without much natural flavor, nor aromatics of real fruit. These ubiquitous mixers that force less than natural flavors upon the consumer are not my focus, nor my friends, as I seek the real thing. Flavor that leaps from that glass sitting in front of you. Color that is vibrant, and natural in scope. There is an unspoken-magic that takes place when a well-crafted cocktail is built with the finest hand-produced ingredients available. This product is Fruitations. My life changed that moment that I started using it in my craft cocktails. I took bottles of this salubrious liquid elixir to the Moscow Bar Show in Russia, and then used them to blast the antiquated concept that all cocktails must be overly sweet, out into space. The back-story is most cocktails in Russia are made to be overly sweet, as this comes from being denied sugar for a hundred or so years, so their deeply potent, sweet-tooth is well-known. When the participants of my master-classes on mixology tried the Tangerine Fruitations, they were astonished. It’s not overly sugared, and then any sugar that exists in the mix is pure cane, instead of corn based sugar! This is brilliant! So I learned, by utilizing Allison’s brilliant syrups in my creative mixology, her flavors were going to make me a star. Later on I discovered that we are both May 20th babies, and the friendship was cemented. Just as I found by utilizing Fruitations in my craft cocktail experiments.I even used Fruitations Grapefruit and the above mentioned Tangerine- (brilliant stuff) in my appearance, making cocktails on the TV Show named Viceland Live recently. Allison’s Tangerine Syrup made me look fabulous! Thank you, my friend for creating such deeply passionate and positive flavors for others to enjoy.
Chongo=Bong Crystal Voyager=pipe WARREN BOBROW: IPHONE X
A couple months ago, the extremely kind and generous artists at Summerland sent me a Chongo and a Crystal Voyager for review. I had a bong already from an earlier article, a Session Bong, with its good looking and easy to hold lines, but when the Chongo arrived it was shelved. Mostly because I’m not a bong guy. I am pretty old-fashioned in my cannabis consumption, and I am not looking to maximize my experience by ingesting large amounts of smoke in a forthright, concentrated manner. I utilize my Genius Pipe, so easy on the lungs, and just the right amount of smoke. But when I have the hankering for something a bit more intense, I reach for my water-pipe to cool that smoke, and offer a bit of a lift. So, my writing about the Summerland Bong and pipe in Forbes, took a Social Media note from Summerland to remind me of my obligations, one that I take very seriously. Sorry for my negligence, I’ve been a bit busy…
