The cannabis community in California is tightly knit, and every time I go out to Northern California, it seems I find myself connecting with more and more of the humble, yet talented people that make it so vibrant. I first toured Sonoma Lab Works as a guest of its original founder, Dennis Hunter of CannaCraft. The lab is thriving and has built an excellent reputation over the years for their strong work in product formulation and testing. Erika Lindeman is as dedicated as they come and is a well-known face in California. As the Business Development Director she is charged with the compliance piece of cannabis, but on a broader scale. How her work integrates into the community? I’m pretty sure she does many things, all of them to the best of her ability. And in cannabis, like in cooking you have to be able to boil water and clean the pots and pans at the same time. Just like working in a cannabis testing lab, correct me if I’m wrong. Thank you, WB

I’m a big fan of Chalice Farms, probably because I’ve visited some of their dispensaries while I was recently in Portland, Oregon. They do a really nice job with training their staff to be compassionate and kind. Great work by a company that really cares about their guests. For once I didn’t feel sold to, but guided by. You really have to experience this level of service yourself. At least I experienced a warm and friendly environment. Very refreshing indeed.
