I love to learn about individuals who are involved in the cannabis industry from a scientific standpoint. These individuals offer something to the craft of cannabis that artists are unable to do. I say artist because I consider the growers to be the artists in the equation of cannabis. The scientists have the really interesting role. They understand, at a core level the reason why cannabis is so important as a medicinal. These individuals are keyed into the innovation behind the plant, from a purely scientific standpoint. So interesting! And now, without further delay, may I please introduce Ari Mackler, CSO, Plus Products. Cheers, WB

Biosciences is at the forefront of scientific innovation leveraging the vast potential of the endocannabinoid system to develop therapeutics. I’m always interested in the art of the endocannabinoid system, so misunderstood and because of stigmas that are prevalent in the cannabis world, this essential healing element is almost unknown until recently. That is why you will enjoy this interview as I did. Thank you, Cheers! WB

I love the principal of farmer first having grown up on a working Biodynamic/Organic farm in New Jersey. This is precisely why I was intrigued from the start by Jhavid Mohseni. He seems to me like a knowledgeable gentlemen, unencumbered by first world, rather mundane matters like deep cases of jet-lag or finding something to eat in a foreign country where you don’t speak any of the language.

A healer, botanist, mother, farmer, and former Waldorf school kindergarten teacher, cannabis expert Katie Jeane often refers to herself as being “called” to a particular course of action. Katie has experienced this calling multiple times in her life, and she describes it as a guiding internal voice thathas led her to build an earthen cob house by hand as well as use her wisdom and careful eye to grow some of the best sun grown craft cannabis in the Emerald Triangle, including the super rare THCV-rich flower she and her family call “Pink Boost Goddess.” A citizen scientist whose experience in botany has yielded fascinating results, Katie Jeane and her family steward a business they call Emerald Spirit Botanicals.

I spent a few hours with Michael Abramson today and took away memories for a lifetime. Since we had to socially distance, we didn’t have the luxury of sharing a joint together. But what we did share were stories over a really sour framboise beer from Crooked Stave. Our lives may not have crossed paths prior to today, but by our experience in life was very similar, as if we had been cut from the same cloth. It was truly an honor to spend time with Michael over some of his magnificent flowers. I can finally say I’ve tasted some of the best there is. Very impressive Michael. You got me lit up and therefore much improved.

Warren Bobrow=WB: Please tell me about yourself? What brought you to the cannabis/botany world? Healing? What was your inspiration to do what you do?
