Janerette’s Eco-Friendly Fungi LLC is the name of the company co-founded by Dozie Mbonu. I enjoy meeting young people who really are passionate about the plant. Dozie Mbonu is one of these people who inspire me to learn more. Dozie, who lives in Philadelphia is a former professional basketball player, turned plant scientist. His story can’t help but inspire you to, NEVER GIVE UP. I love that and find Dozie to be the reason why I picked the cannabis field in the first place. Passion. Please allow me the honor of introducing to you, Dozie Mbonu. A driven and brilliant man who really gets it.
Earlier this week, TerrAscend’s greenhouse located at its Boonton facility became the first greenhouse in New Jersey to receive a cannabis cultivation permit by the Department of Health. The leading North American Operator expects to start harvesting its first batch of cannabis in the fall and unveil a comprehensive suite of medical products in November.
I’m a massive fan of Murano (Venetian) Glass. Fortunate to grow up in a home with many pieces of this richly textured and deeply colored glass, the memory light shines through my memories. It is as if each droplet of glass is lit from within. Luminescent and robust. When I discovered that someone was making tips for cannabis cigarettes made from snippings of real Murano glass, the authentic kind, not the cheap knock-offs, I had to know more. These artistic Murano Tips are a brilliant, yet tiny invention using one of my favorite materials, Venetian glass!
I love Parker Sullivan’s background. It was Charleston, SC that snagged my attention. Although our paths have not crossed, I lived in Charleston in the 80’s and spent Hurricane Hugo in the safe embrace of a circa 1800’s kitchen house on Charlotte Street. This is a place you don’t just forget.
I love the philosophy behind Jarod Duggins company named Trichomes. What he is attempting to do is to with his medium is to clarify and normalize the electronic narrative surrounding cannabis. How could I resist wanting to spend some time discovering more about him? Well, long story made somewhat shorter, I’m quite intrigued by Jarod and his deeply purposed ambition. His passion for the plant and all the ways it benefits us caught my attention. Of course this product is cannabis. And dispelling the stigmas that surround our medicine is the path Jarod follows.

The lab is thriving and has built an excellent reputation over the years for their strong work in product formulation and testing. Erika Lindeman is as dedicated as they come and is a well-known face in California. As the Business Development Director she is charged with the compliance piece of cannabis, but on a broader scale. How her work integrates into the community? I’m pretty sure she does many things, all of them to the best of her ability. And in cannabis, like in cooking you have to be able to boil water and clean the pots and pans at the same time. Just like working in a cannabis testing lab, correct me if I’m wrong. Thank you, WB
I’m a big fan of Chalice Farms, probably because I’ve visited some of their dispensaries while I was recently in Portland, Oregon. They do a really nice job with training their staff to be compassionate and kind. Great work by a company that really cares about their guests. For once I didn’t feel sold to, but guided by. You really have to experience this level of service yourself. At least I experienced a warm and friendly environment. Very refreshing indeed.
