I love learning about entrepreneurs who are confident in their educational agility and self-made talents. None are more impressive than Rob Tankson, the studious and pragmatic co/founder of PrestoDoctor. Rob is concise, crisp and well-spoken. He has established a platform that helps people within the strata of cannabis healing. I respect that deeply because I’m in the medical cannabis program in New Jersey. We need more people like Rob to pave the way against stigmas and the challenges that cannabis passes through. Now, with my best wishes, please eMeet Rob Tankson.
Jim Jones and Alex Todd SAUCEY FARMS AND EXTRACTS.
My life as a cannabis alchemist is pretty mundane in comparison to self-made superstars like the music empresario, Rapper Jim Jones. How often do I get the chance to communicate to someone as prolific and outright famous as this gentleman? Never! Mr. Jones has an enlightening story to tell and also has created a line of lovely flowers to pave his way to further success.
The compounding effect of the global pandemic and market downturn has thrown a wrench into most retail operations in recent months. While mainstream retail sales have been at all-time lows across the country, legal cannabis sales are still holding strong in several states due to its essential status. Despite being one of the more nascent markets in the country, Michigan has reported a $54.6 million increase in adult-use sales since the beginning of the pandemic and increased the number of licensed retailers in the state by 70% between March 2 and May 12.

Sitting in front of me is the newest incarnation of the famous Tectonic9 Cloudious9, chargeable, cannabis grinder. It’s colored in the most resinous looking blood-red paint that I can imagine. On top, in white enamel, dripping off the side of the lid of this handsome and heavy to the touch eGrinder, is the letter S. The S is dripping paint, in the style of a tagger or graffiti artist. In this case, S marks that spot. It’s visceral and attractive. Your hands want to touch the S, to see if its wet.
I was visiting Oregon this past winter when I first discovered Lady Jays, created by Ladies of Paradise founders Jade Daniels, Harlee Case and their team. These joints are anything but small, and they kick serious butt — so much so, I stuffed a few packs into my briefcase so I’d have enough for later. Lady Jays have added deep enlightenment to my writing, and my recommendation is that you try their various versions: THC, CBD, CBG, and their new CBD/CBG blend. I suggest you enjoy a THC jay alongside one of their jays featuring CBD and CBG in conjunction with each other. Why? This is called the Entourage Effect, recently updated to the Ensemble Effect. According to cannabis educator Emma Chasen of Eminent Consulting, the Ensemble Effect is the same theory concept, just a slight change in language. Chasen says, “Entourage conveys that THC is the superstar with all other compounds acting as its entourage, whereas Ensemble more clearly evokes all compounds working together synergistically with no one compound as the superstar.”
Albert Einstein the theorist or Albert Einstone’s the cannabis mastermind? Let your educated palate be the judge. From the first moment that I tasted an El Blunto, with its intricately woven indoor-grown flower, augmented with a hand-crafted all natural wrap and glass filter tip, the passion of its makers was clearly evident. They get me quite lifted, therefore creative. I can say, with all honesty, that these cannabis pre-rolls do their job quite effectively. They inspire me!

Amid the recent uprising and protests there’s one undeniable fact, the energy of the people and the messages from the streets are what politicians should be paying attention to. During June, the Pride month for LGBTQIA+ and their allies to celebrate and advocate for equality, the Supreme Court ruled against the administration, making it illegal to terminate an individual’s employment based on their sexual preferences or identification.

Warren Bobrow=WB: Why Cannabis? What was your path to the plant? Who were you with when you first got high? Do you remember what you were listening to?
Eric Spitz=ES: I grew up in a house with five boys, so there was a good amount of mischief, and one of my cousins was the center of the local pot scene. I hung out with the guys who were buying and selling weed at school but decided to wait until I got accepted into college to begin my relationship with cannabis. I remember hearing that I might not get high on my first experience, but that doesn’t explain why I have a perpetual and vague memory of the movie Lucas. I remember the hoopla around my first bong hit, and then not much of the movie. Once in college, I realized that I liked cannabis culture and smoking pot to enhance and supplement my enjoyment of partying with alcohol. But heavy drinking often wreaks havoc during the evening and a leaves a hangover the next day. Weed has fewer side effects, and it’s far more versatile. I like inhaling weed (smoking and vaping, not so much eating) before I work out or have a great meal, and it frequently stimulates creative sessions of writing and business strategy. Weed is fun for me and usually puts a smile on my face.
Warren Bobrow=WB: Please tell me about yourself. Where are you from? Where do you reside now? How did you discover cannabis? CBD? Did you use the plant for pain and stress management?

Warren Bobrow=WB: Where are you from? Where are you now in the world? Why cannabis instead of business, law, medicine or what have you? What brought you to the plant?
Alex Shreeve=AS: I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, however, lived in California and Florida for High School and College. I was a medical card holder prior to Recreational Cannabis to address health issues and my personal sense of wellness. My passion has always been cannabis and I’ve been drawn to the complexity of flavors and corresponding effects of flower. I began to notice the subtle flavors on the inhale and exhale of specific cultivars, motivating a lifelong search for the best genetics in the world.
